Jason joined the squad after an extensive background in swimming.  He has enjoyed the change and is quickly changing and improving his running technique.

He is eligible for novice events.

A Stawell Hall of Famer returns to Aths after decades away from 5he sport.  Now in his 60s it is taking a bit to get his running legs back but he isn’t deterred and remains determined.

A full record of his achievements is being complied. 

Bryce has decided he wants to run more after mainly focussing on playing basketball at rep level.  He has limited competition background, but he is enjoying his foray into running.

He is eligible for novice events, U/14 events and U/18 events.

James joined the squad nearing the end of 2024/2025 season.  He has come from a basketball background with some middle distance running at LAs and school.

He is eligible for Novice Events

Daniel joined the squad half way through 2025/2026 preseason and is beginning to adapt to athletics after playing Rugby Union for his school.

He is eligible for novice events.

Pro Debut - 2025 Waverley 70m 

Shani joined the team at the beginning of 2025/2026 season.  She has a background in amateur Aths with Yarra Ranges Athletics.  She is now a member of Ringwood Athletic Club.  She will try out a handful of pro races this season and see if she likes it.

 She is eligible for Novice Races.
