Craig contacted Nick at the beginning of the Winter preparation for 2008/2009 to join the team.  He has been a highly successful athlete for many years whilst under the guidance of various coaches. 

He is now a member of the Ringwood Athletic Club.

Despite many of Craigs acheivements, one of his most outstanding performances occured at the 2007/2008 Bay Sheffield where he ran a slashing 120m in the nude gift to finish an unlucky 2nd to Peter Dudkiewicz.  Even though the Dude might have taken first place, Craig still obviously claimed the title of "King of the nude Gift".

Craig was a semi finalist in the 2010 Stawell Gift.

Craig returned to the squad in 2014/2015 after training independently for the previous  of year.

At the completion of season 14/15 Craig commenced training elsewhere because it suited his personal circumstances, however he returned to the squad in August 2015.

At the completion of 2015/2016 Craig retired from athletics after 20 years of competition to travel overseas and pursue other career goals. In his last race he narrowly missed making the 70m Final at Stawell.

Craig re-joined the team at the commencement of pre season 2024/2025.
