Travis had been running pros for a couple of years and at Stawell 2008 he approached Nick to commence training with the team.  Shortly before the scheduled start of winter training he was diagnosed with glandular fever and has missed the majority of training.  In September he resumed training on a modified training program.  He has continued to improve and has performed well making numerous novice finals and his first open final at Euroa in the 70m in SEason 2009/2010.  He finished 4th in the Stawell Novice 100m later in the season and an unlucky 2nd ain the Ballarat Novice 120m the same season.

He is a member of the Diamond Valley Athletic Club.

Travis will be overseas for an extended period leading into season 2014/2015 and therefore he will temporarily hang up the spikes.
